BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

AAF Birmingham plays a unique role in our local advertising community because we strive to maintain a strong network, through industry knowledge and education, creative recognition, and opportunities for idea exchange, for both the businesses and individuals who make up advertising in the Birmingham area.

AAF Birmingham is about people — professionals just like you who are committed to their work. With professionals across all disciplines of the advertising community, you have the opportunity to both teach and learn. Plenty of business relationships can be traced back to AAF Birmingham, and staying connected to both potential clients and your competition promotes a healthy industry.​

Volunteer

Here’s the scoop: you get to work with fun, intelligent professionals, take a break from your 9 to 5, and help support the Birmingham advertising community…what could be more fulfilling? CONTRIBUTE

We sponsor numerous scholarships, community outreach projects, and professional events, and we spread the word about our success on our website. Your membership helps ensure that we can continue to support the academic, advertising, and Birmingham community and of course we also welcome you to contribute “hands-on” time.​

We hold regular professional development luncheons designed to help you enrich your career. But don’t think we’re “all work and no play” — we put on plenty of social events offering you the opportunity to meet others in your industry.​
